Frostproof Garden Pottery - March 2011
Our pots are different than most typical planters. They are fired in the traditional Dragon Kilns of south China and South Vietnam as they have been for hundreds of years. The clay used is an especially dense variety particular to the locale. They are fired at about 2500 degrees F. to eliminate airspace in the clay so there is nowhere for moisture to leach into; thus the frost-proof nature of these everlasting planters.
Indochine has been shipping these pots to cold climates, like Aspen, Steamboat Springs, Cody Wyoming and northwestern Nebraska, for many years now. We are also a main supplier to the Denver Botanic Gardens.
Our planters represent the very best value in outdoor achitectural accents as they are guaranteed not to crack or peel from our freeze/thaw climate.

New Guinea Folk Art Collection - March 2011
The tribal art of Papua New Guinea is now on display at the Indochine showroom.
Cultural, geographic and climatic facts all combine to make the art of New Guinea fragile and often rare. In recent years traditional art has been impacted by commercial pressures making this traditional art even more precious.
This genuine tribal collection was assembled by Dr. Barry Karlin while living among the tribes in the 1980s.
